Mobile phones are not a threat but an opportunity

May 29, 2012   /   by Marco  / Categories :  Business

I was reading an article and it was quite interesting to learn that some retail stores and companies are threatened by the growth of mobile phones and how consumers are starting to make purchases via mobile phones rather than coming into the stores.

What I’ve learnt is that what these companies should do is leverage on this technology and take up this opportunity and change their mindset that the use of mobile phones are a threat. What they should do is start thinking on how their retail business can utilise mobile phones to either drive traffic to their stores or make online purchases.

What are your thoughts on this?
