Telstra HD Voice

I came across an interesting Youtube video about Telstra’s HD Voice technology. I was a bit curious what HD Voice was… it was basically High Definition Voice which provided high voice quality. Most Telstra handsets support this, but it will automatically use HD voice if the other party also is on Telstra and has a compatible HD Voice phone. Have a look at these videos:
Will I switch to Telstra because of this? Probably not. But having worked in a Radio broadcasting organisation, this technology will be useful for reporters when conducting live interviews on the field.
