QNAP ANTIVIRUS FAILS
August 11, 2017 / by Marco / Categories : Business, repost, Software, Technology
I recently logged into my QNAP server and discovered the Antivirus updates from ClamAV were failing. The virus definitions were from way back in 2016. I tried clicking on the Update Now button but the Status keeps going back to Failed.
The only way to resolve this issue was to download and run the update manually. You can download the daily virus definitions from here: http://database.clamav.net/daily.cvd

Once you have downloaded the virus definitions click on Browse and then select import. That’s it.
