DIY PLUMBING FIXING LEAKING TAP

Ever been annoyed hearing a leaking tap? Don’t want to waste money paying for water that is leaking? While many plumbers are available to fix a leaking tap and will charge you hundreds of dollars, you may want to do it yourself (DIY).

For more difficult and troublesome leaks, you may need a professional plumber to handle the job but if you think you’re some handyman skills you may want to fix it yourself. The main cause of tap leaks is worn out tap valves. To fix this you would need a Soft Turn Repair Kit – BUY IT HERE
If you’ve changed to the soft turn valves and the tap is still leaking it’s possible the seat that the valve is pressing on is rough or has bumps. Not many people know that there is a tool to fix this and its called a Tap Reseaters – BUY IT HERE
There may be other issues with the tap and you may need to replace the whole tap bonnet but it will be cheaper than calling a plumber (in most cases).
