How to extract contents from an exe file
May 31, 2013 / by Marco / Categories : Technology
Did you ever want to check the contents of an exe file? I stumbled across a tool that allows you to extract the contents of exe files so you don’t have to install the program. The tool is called Universal Extractor and it’s designed to decompress and extract files from any type of archive or installer. This includes extension files such as ZIP, RAR, MSI, EXE and the list goes on. You can find the full list here.
It’s a geeky tool, but a very handy one.
Once the program is installed, all you have to do is right click on the file and select UniExtract Files.
