Issues with gingerbread keyboard on HTC Desire HD

December 21, 2010   /   by Marco  / Categories :  Technology

I was reading about the new Android OS called Gingerbread and the great features this system has. One of them being the new keyboard and after a bit of researching I discovered that someone ported the gingerbread keyboard to Froyd. So I decided to give it a go on my Desire HD. It installed fine but it comes up with an error message (force close) when trying to input the letters. Using the top row symbols seems to work fine.

Here’s a few images of my settings and the error message.
