Android MUIU ROM
June 1, 2011 / by Marco / Categories : TechnologyA friend of mine told me about the MUIU rom and how great it was so I decided to test it out. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this ROM, even though the interface was nice and it did have a couple of nice features it didn’t do what I wanted:
FM radio was missing
Tethering didn’t work – the phone just rebooted everytime I selected this option
Had to install another tool to set the CPU performance
Maybe if the MUI ROM had the above two features fixed, then I would consider it again but in the meantime I’m happy with the Cyanogenmod ROM. Also, the lesson that I learnt when switching between ROMs, make sure you always do a full backup. 🙂
