How to add the Gadget by URL to Gmail

October 9, 2011   /   by Marco  / Categories :  Gmail, Technology

I can’t believe how difficult it was to add a Gadget in Gmail by entering the URL. It was not very intuitive, but here’s the steps to have this enabled:

1. Login to your Gmail
2. Click the Wheel at the top right hand corner and then Mail Settings
3. Click the Labs tab
4. Look for Add any Gadget by URL and click enable
5. Refresh the page and then you’ll see the Gadgets Tab
6. Click the Gadgets tab and enter the URL of the Gadget you wish to add to Gmail.

Hopefully this has helped someone.
