Why didn’t Google include pop-out replies with the new Gmail Compose rollout?
December 19, 2012 / by Marco / Categories : Google, Technology
Ok, I admit it. I’m a Google fan. I have an Android phone, I use Chrome, Google Search, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools, Google Adwords, Google Apps and the list goes on. But one of the things I have found so frustrating over the years is the little reply box in Gmail. Yes, you know the one:
Why is it at the bottom of the page? I’m sure there is a logical explanation.
Now that wasn’t the reason why I posted this. My real question is with the rollout of the new features of Compose Pop-out (I really like this feature by the way), “Why isn’t there a REPLY pop-out window?” Don’t take offence Google Engineers, Designers, or whoever makes these decisions I love your products and I definitely know you guys are much smarter than me hence the reason why you’re there in the Google Headquarters and I’m here sitting at my desk writing this blog post that you’ll probably will never read.
I’m pretty sure quite a number of people have ranted about this problem already. I think everyone has. Everyone? Please help me out guys.
