Email to Fax and Fax to Email Service

August 3, 2012   /   by Marco  / Categories :  Business

One of my friends recently asked me for some advice on what brand and model of a fax machine he should get for work. He discovered his work fax machine died because of the constant use. When he asked me what type of fax machine we use for our own business I told him that we don’t use one.  What? He said.

I explained to him that we use a virtual fax service that send us the faxes via email so that we can view these on our PC or phone. He sounded very intrigued as he wasn’t a very techie person so I went on to explain that you can get a local fax number and when someone sends you the fax you can get it sent to a specific email address. That way you can archive the faxes digitally and also send faxes using your word document, pdf, etc from your PC. The main benefit I told him was that you can check the faxes from anywhere and also you are helping the environment by not wasting money/resources on machines, toners, paper and power. After he heard this, he was convinced that this is what he needed – it’s just that he never heard of this type of service before.

I recommended to him the fax service provider we currently use called efax.com.au, however they have a limitation of being able to only send 150 pages per month and receive 150 page per month which he didn’t like. His business actually receives thousands of faxes.

So after some researching I found out that this company called Faxmate allows you to send 3000 faxes per month and it only $4 per month than efax http://www.faxmate.com.au/personal-and-small-business-plans/
