How do you remove the dash, hyphen from half word or stop word in Photoshop?

June 2, 2013   /   by Marco  / Categories :  Technology

Here’s what happened: I typed a long paragraph using the Text Tool in Photoshop and then I saw words at the end of the box with the dash/hyphen (-). Here’s an image of the issue:

I thought this will be easy to fix but then spent the next hour or so working out how to fix it. I then finally found the option to remove this so I thought I’d better blog it before I forget. The steps are:

1. Select the layer with the text

2. Click Window at the top and select Paragraph

Adobe Photoshop hyphenate

3.In the Paragraph window, deselect Hyphenate.

Done! Problem fixed.
