Bug: How to avoid paying the 10% processing fee on Fivver.com
November 5, 2014 / by Marco / Categories : Humour, Technology, TIP AND TRICKS
If you’re a Fivver.com user then you’re going to love this. Fivver, recently introduced a 10% fee for processing orders. So the total cost of a fivver gig is US$5.50. If your order is higher then you would still have to pay for the processing fee. I found this out when I ordered a gig and noticed the extra charge. I thought this was an error because I never received any notifications or messages stating that there would be a new fee. After some research I noticed that indeed Fivver rolled out this fee just this month. This has caused a lot of stir and users are not happy with this change, especially if their gig costs more than $100.
However, I just found a BUG or maybe it’s not but who cares it works for NOW. So be quick and make sure you share this with others.
Here’s what I did:
USE THE MOBILE VERSION OF FIVVER AND ORDER THE GIG THROUGH THE APP.
It’s still $5.00 and no processing fee.
Have a look at my screenshot with today’s date:
I placed the order and then check PayPal and there were no additional fees. Here’s a screenshot:
