Click frenzy – no show
November 20, 2012 / by Marco / Categories : Business, Technology
I just tried accessing the click frenzy website www.clickfrenzy.com.au after my wife complained that Interet was down, but in actual fact it’s the site that is down. After some researching, just the site and other websites that are pointing back to their website is also down e.g kogan www.kogan.com/ClickFrenzy are also down.
Looks like their servers couldn’t cope the load. I’m not sure where their servers are hosted but I would have assumed amazon maybe?
Based on some articles on other website, it appears that they anticipated that “maybe” their server will go down. Hopefully it will be up again so that we can see what all the fuss is about.
What’s more interesing is that there are quite a number of retaliers that are using google ads to advertise their click frenzy sales but the links no longer work. Does this mean that the retailer still has to pay for the click?
UPDATE @7:40pm: It’s up now.
UPDATE: @7:47pm: It’s down again but here’s a look at what they have on the homepage
