Grab and Save and Sharebar Plugins doesn’t work with WordPress 3.5
December 14, 2012 / by Marco / Categories : Business, Technology
I just upgraded several of my websites to the latest version of WordPress 3.5 and discovered that the Grab and Save plugin doesn’t work with the new media library interface. For those of you who doesn’t know what Grab and Save does read the below description:
Grab and Save -This plugin allow you to grab image from remote url and save into your own wordpress media library. By doing so, you never worried if the remote image was removed by its owner. This also save you steps to download the image to local computer and upload again to your own wordpress
The other plugin that I found not working was sharebar. I temporarily disabled this plugin because it came up with error messages when loading pages from the website which makes the site look really ugly.
Here’s a description of what sharebar does:
Sharebar adds a dynamic and fully customizable vertical box to the left of a blog post that contains links/buttons to popular social networking sites. For wide blogs, a vertical bar with popular sharing icons appears on the left of your post. If the page is resized below 1000px (default), the vertical bar disappears and a horizontal sharebar appears under the post title.
Those are the only 2 I have found so far. Please let me know if you found others so I can include on this list.
