Do you have duplicate contacts in your Google Contacts or on your Android Smartphone?
Here’s a simple way to remove/merge duplicate contacts:
1. Login to your Gmail account
2. Click on Contacts. There’s a few ways to go into contacts:
Click on the Apps icon at the top right hand corner
or click on the drop down icon next to Mail and then select Contacts
3. Click the more button at the top
4. Click Find & Merge duplicates
5. A list of all the duplicates will show up.
If there are no duplicates then the below message will appear:
[note color=”#ffff80″]No duplicates found
Yay! No duplicates
[/note]
Make sure your contacts are synchronised with your Android smartphone and you will notice there will be no duplicates
